Blundstone 981 Black flame retardant leather smelter boot

Flame-retardant leather and a covered fastening make this 200mm smelter boot suited to molten-metal work. It has insulated uppers and seams stitched with Kevlar.

• Kevlar-stitched seams resist liquid metal splash and immersion.
• Adjustable hook-and-loop flaps allow quick entry and exit.
• Dip tested at 960°C in molten aluminium and 1520°C in molten steel.
• Shock-absorbing PU midsole with antibacterial agent.
• Rubber outsole resists oil, acid and organic fat, with heat resistance to 300°C.
